Tell Google what your business actually is
Schema markup is a block of structured data that states your address, hours and contact details in a form search engines read directly rather than guess at. Fill this in, paste the result into your head tag, and stop hoping Google worked out your opening hours from a paragraph.
Pick the closest match.
Leave blank if you have no public address.
Dollar signs, or a range like $50 to $200.
Paste into your head tag

Only mark up what is actually visible on the page. Describing hours or an address that appear nowhere on the site is against Google's guidelines, and losing the rich result is the mild version of what follows.
Check it with Google's Rich Results Test once the page is live, then watch Search Console for structured data errors.

Common questions about schema markup generators
What is schema markup and do I need it?
It is a block of machine-readable data describing your business, usually in a format called JSON-LD. You need it if you are a local business that wants its hours, address, phone number and reviews understood rather than inferred. It will not lift you up the rankings by itself, but it makes the result you already have far more useful.
Where do I put the schema code?
Inside a script tag in the head of your page. One block per page, on the page the data describes: your business details belong on your home page or contact page, not repeated on every blog post.
Will this get me rich results in Google?
It makes you eligible, not guaranteed. Google decides whether to show enhanced results, and valid markup is the entry requirement rather than the outcome. Marking up things that are not on the page is also against the guidelines and is the fastest way to lose the feature.
How do I check my schema is working?
Paste the page URL into Google's own Rich Results Test, and watch Search Console for structured data errors once the page has been crawled. Valid markup that Google has not crawled yet simply looks like nothing is happening.
