Choyo Labs · Wellington · Wellington
Web design for Wellington businesses.
Fixed from $2,500, live in four weeks, and you own the code and the accounts at the end.
Get a fixed priceWe build websites for Wellington businesses as a remote New Zealand studio, with no Te Aro office to point at. Wellington clients tend to be the quickest to be fine with that, partly because so much of the city already works this way, and partly because what they want is a clear scope and a firm date rather than a meeting room.
Working with Wellington
What Wellington clients come to us for.
Consultancies and small agencies, mostly
Wellington skews to professional services: consultancies, policy shops, small specialist firms. That work needs a site that reads as credible to a discerning client and stays current without a developer, so we build the content structure to be edited by the person who actually writes it.
A dated schedule, not an estimate
Four weeks from the point your content is ready, with the dates written down. If something slips we tell you which date moved and why, in the week it happens rather than at the end.
Accessibility taken seriously
If you work with or bid for public sector clients, accessibility is a procurement question rather than a nice-to-have. We build to the standard by default and can tell you exactly where a site stands before you have to answer for it.

Working with us from Wellington
Are you based in Wellington?
No. We are a remote New Zealand studio working with Wellington clients, and we would rather be straight about that than list a coworking desk as head office.
Can you meet in the office to scope the project?
We scope over a call and a written document instead. You get the scope in writing before committing to anything, which is more useful than an hour in a meeting room and is something you can circulate internally.
Do you work with government or public sector clients?
We build to accessibility standards by default, which is usually the blocking question. Talk to us about the specific procurement requirements you are working to and we will tell you honestly whether we can meet them.
