See your page the way Google will
Write the title and description, watch where Google will cut them off, and copy the finished tags. The social preview is included because the same page gets shared on Facebook and LinkedIn, and a missing Open Graph tag is why a link sometimes posts with no image at all.

Common questions about meta tag generators
How long should a title tag be?
Around sixty characters. Google measures pixels rather than characters, so there is no exact limit, but past sixty you are gambling with the end of your title. Put the important words first, and keep your brand name at the end where losing it costs least.
How long should a meta description be?
About 155 characters. It is not a ranking factor, which people use as an excuse to skip it, but it is the sales line under your result and it decides whether anyone clicks. Write it as an offer, not a summary.
What are Open Graph tags for?
They control what appears when your page is shared on Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack or iMessage: the headline, the blurb and the image. Without them the platform guesses, and it usually guesses badly, which is why some links post as a bare URL with no picture.
Will Google use the description I write?
Sometimes. Google rewrites descriptions when it thinks a different snippet matches the search better, and that is normal rather than a fault. Writing a good one still wins often enough to be worth the five minutes.
