Placeholder text, instantly
Latin filler for layout work, or English filler when you are showing a client and do not want to explain what lorem ipsum is. Pick how much you need and copy it.
English reads as real copy, which gets better feedback from anyone who is not a designer.

Common questions about lorem ipsum generators
What is lorem ipsum?
Scrambled Latin, taken from a first-century BC text by Cicero, used as placeholder copy since the 1500s. It exists because nonsense in a familiar alphabet lets you judge a layout without reading the words, which is exactly what you want while designing.
Should I use lorem ipsum in a client mockup?
Often not. Clients read it, get confused, and judge the design on text they cannot understand. Real copy, or at least plausible English, almost always gets better feedback. Latin is for your own layout work.
Will placeholder text hurt my SEO?
Only if it ships. Lorem ipsum left on a live page is a thin page with no content, and it happens more often than anyone admits, usually on a privacy page or a footer nobody checked before launch.
