Free tools · Fixing the site you have

What is holding your site back?

This checks the technical groundwork, the part that has to be right before content or links can do anything. It will not tell you which keywords to target. It will tell you whether Google can read and index the page at all, which is the more common problem.

Checks one page at a time, using Google's own Lighthouse audits.

Common questions about seo checkers

Why is my website not showing up on Google?

Three causes cover almost all of it. The site was never submitted or indexed, so Google does not know it exists. The pages are blocked by robots.txt or a stray noindex tag, often left over from a staging site. Or the pages are indexed but have nothing on them worth ranking, which is the hardest one to accept and the most common.

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show up in weeks. Ranking for anything competitive takes three to six months at minimum, and for a brand new domain closer to a year. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either selling you brand-name terms you already rank for, or something that will cost you later.

Is this the same as a full SEO audit?

No. This checks one page's technical health. A real audit looks at your whole site, your competitors, what people actually search for in your market, and where the gaps are. This is the free version of the first ten minutes of that.

What should I fix first?

Anything that stops a page being indexed, because nothing else matters until that is fixed. Then titles and headings, which are cheap and move things. Then speed. Content and links last, not because they matter least but because they are wasted effort on a page Google cannot read.
