Bill Book and Vehicle Tax Remainder
About the app
Sawari tells you the real date your vehicle bluebook must be renewed by in Nepal, which is often not the date printed in your book. It then reminds you before the bluebook, driving licence, insurance and next service fall due, so a late fine never catches you out.
The trap is the grace period. Most renewals get 90 days after the printed date, but not when that date falls in Chaitra, Baisakh, Jestha or Ashar. For those months the vehicle tax must be paid within Chaitra of the same fiscal year, earlier than the book suggests. Sawari does the counting for you and says plainly when the grace does not apply.
Add a motorcycle, scooter, car, jeep, van, tempo, e-rickshaw or EV, and every deadline for the household appears in one list, ordered by what to deal with first. Dates are shown in Bikram Sambat with the AD date beside them, in Nepali or English, and everything works offline on your phone.
Sawari is an independent app, not an official government service. It tells you when your vehicle tax is due, never how much: for amounts, use the official payment apps and calculators.
